Chain Dash

 A small exploration into combat design. The main mechanic revolves around dashing through enemies. You have a few dash charges to expend, but if you keep dashing into enemies successfully, you'll get a dash charge refunded. Master the system, and you can basically keep dashing infinitely! But be sure to dash to a new enemy each time, as the hitting the same enemy mutliple times in a row does not regain you a charge!

This small project is mainly a showcase on creating a small combat system with different abilities. It is not meant to be a full game but more of a playground. The project includes:

• Two abilities, a normal dash which you can chain and a powerdash which you have to build up from performing successful chain dashes
• Plenty of target practice and shooting enemies
• Bullets that spice up the gameplay a bit, some you can dash through (red), some you cannot (black)

Controls:

• WASD to move
• Left mouse button to dash
• Hold right mouse button to charge up the power dash, release to perform
